I had been a senior equity analyst at Investment Research Department of Toyo Securities Co., Ltd. I have appeared on the Nikkei CNBC television program and had been featured in the Nikkei newspaper several times.
Also been featured in The Economist magazine and is known for unique stock picks. Prior to becoming an analyst, served as a consultant to companies intending an IPO.
Before rejoining Toyo Securities, I was a marketing officer at Merrill Lynch Asset Management and Merrill Lynch International Bank for several years. I received an MBA from Aoyama Business School, and holds a CMA and CIIA (Certified International Investment Analyst). I was a member of the board of directors at the CFA Society Japan since 2011 and chaired the Membership Committee. Later was elected Vice President in 2017. In recognition of contributing to continued growth of the society, elected as the first female President in 2019 and served until 2020, till the term. Currently I educate not only corporations but also at universities regarding the importance of investor relations and diversity equity and inclusion (DEI).
I was one of the seven women selected in the book called “Gekidou no Shihon shijou wo kakenuketa Onna tachi” ( Women who contributed to capital market” published in 2022. Also served as a judge for the Nikkei Integrated Reporting Award.
